Director of Business Development and Practice Management
Mike brings over 30 years of advisor development experience to the firm. Soon after college he began his career in financial services at a large mutual fund company. It was there that he found his passion for helping financial advisors develop and refine their individual practices. As a result, he has held various advisor-focused leadership roles throughout his career. For fourteen years prior to joining Presidential, Mike operated his own advisor development consulting business. His most recent consulting effort was for a leading Sustainable, Responsible, Impact (SRI) investment firm. This initiative included aiding advisors in starting and growing their individualized sustainable investment programs.
Mike’s extensive advisor development and practice management experience accompanies him to Presidential. His fulltime focus is: 1) helping advisors through the competitive analysis necessary to make smart career decisions, 2) helping advisors with the transition to a new culture, expansive investment platform, and client management system, 3) successfully helping affiliated advisors grow their advisory businesses while maintaining a healthy balance between professional and personal priorities, and 4) quickly helping them position themselves as leading financial advisors in their local community.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree with dual majors—business/economics and American history— from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta. He currently resides in Westchester County, New York. When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, loves working with his hands, and likes to travel.
