Greg Williams

Vice President

A passion for fixed income, bonds, and the debt markets: That’s the passion Greg Williams exercises each day for his clients in helping them achieve predictable streams of income away from the extremes of equity investing.

Greg employs a more institutional approach to helping solve income and retirement issues for his clients than many typical financial advisers. His twenty-seven years of experience in banking, bond departments, and the private banking/high-net worth side of the financial services industry have helped him formulate his primary investment belief: debt markets can provide greater certainty of returns and growth than most other investment vehicles.

Structured fixed income, municipal bonds, senior secured loans and other fixed income strategies have become the heart-and-soul of Greg’s approach. He stresses the idea of achieving low-risk, high-probability, controlled growth. He steers clearly away from the quick-pop, get-rich-fast temptations; he is quite measured in construction of his portfolio recommendations, and this has led to client loyalties stretching back decades.

An effective teacher with a real-world knowledge of debt structures and lending, he has conducted highly informative workshops on the idea of “lending out your money” – this turns the idea of buying bonds into a clearer perspective for investors as to how debt markets work. Bonds and notes generally represent a higher placement for returns than equities, which goes toward providing greater peace of mind for Gregory and his clients.

Gregory has been a Colorado resident for over forty years and is a graduate of Western State College in Gunnison. He lives with his wife of more than twenty years near Sedalia, CO, where they have raised their son and daughter (who are currently fulltime undergrads at the University of Denver). They have also owned, trained and cared for horses over the years.
