Legacy Guide Free Trial

Are you ready to start your free 30-day trial?

What will your legacy be?

Your legacy takes two parts. The first is the distribution of your estate. The second is the passing-on of your life story.

Legacy Guide gives you an easy way to ensure that you take care of both aspects of your legacy.

What is a Legacy?

We define Legacy as:

  1. A gift of property by inheritance.
  2. Your life story passed along to your family and friends.

Legacy Guide gives you an easy way to ensure that you take care of both aspects of your Legacy, and much more.

Take Control of Your Legacy

Many of us have only a vague idea of how our grandparents and our great-grandparents lived and what was important to them. Sadly, much of our family history is lost over time. Legacy Guide allows you to easily document the important events in your life, and what these events meant to you, so that your descendants will understand how you lived your life. While chronicling your life my seem like a daunting task, it really is as easy as uploading your cherished photographs, dating them, and entering a description of the person or event.

Share Your Story

You can give access to your Legacy Guide account to as many people as you choose. You can specify the level of access each person has. Some you may want to only have access to your Life Story while others, such as those who will be in charge of eventually settling your estate, can have full access to everything on your site. When you are gone, anyone you specify can receive a copy of your life story.

Organizing your Estate

Estate Planning can seem like a very complicated process. Legacy Guide simplifies it down to the basics: Your assets and your heirs. Once Legacy Guide has led you through this process, the next step is to review your estate planning documents to make sure they communicate your desires. If you have not yet prepared any of the documents needed, Legacy Guide points out what you need so you can complete the process.

Take the Frustration Out of Estate Settlement

If you, or someone you know, has had the responsibility of settling someone’s estate, you are probably aware of how frustrating this process can be. Estate settlers are asked to navigate a legal and bureaucratic process with which they have little experience. Once your estate plan is in place, the person given the responsibility for settling your estate will be given step-by-step detailed instructions on how to change the title of your assets to the people you intend to receive them.

Two Ways to Start

If you are a do-it-yourself type person, you can get started immediately with Legacy Guide by signing up for a free 30 day trail.
